Venetian Snares - Horsey Noises

I flipping love Venetian Snares, but this was rubbish. Mediocre breakbeats with stupid annoying samples and terrible singing over the top. One to avoid, I think I may take it to a charity shop it was that bad.

Mastodon - Blood Mountain

I've been listening to Mastodon's latest for a little while and getting more and more in to it. So I bought this off the back of that. It's pretty good, screamy, clear sounding metal. Couple of silly talky bits in it, and a ridiculous last secret track which is a bit pointless. Cracking artwork.
